Since the creation of LG INDUSTRIES in 2004, we have naturally integrated the social and environmental responsibility of our structure into our development.
To demonstrate our commitment from the outset, we have begun a certification process. In 2022, we received the highest level of distinction from EcoVadis: the PLATINIUM medal, awarded after auditing the TOP 1% of companies. This rating validates our actions in the following areas: Environment, Social & Human Rights, Ethics and Responsible Purchasing.
Our factory has also been certified BSCI (Corporate Social Compliance Initiative to improve working conditions) for several years. We have obtained an A in more than 85% of the criteria of this certification.
For almost 20 years, we have been pursuing our continuous improvement approach:
Products :
- Securit glass: 100% tempered glass and 100% verified.
- Nano care anti-scratch and anti-limescale treatment made in Germany without PFOA (free of any harmful substance).
- Profiles without heavy metals.
Factory:
- Installation of solar panels on the roof of our factory (23,000m2) in 2016. Today our energy consumption is divided by two.
- Water in closed circuit mainly for glass processing.
- Use of a pellet furnace to heat the aluminum balls to extrude the profiles.
Human:
- Our factory employs 45% women and 55% men. All of them are employed on a stable basis, with a permanent contract.
Packaging:
- FSC-labeled.
- Use of mineral inks.
