Since the creation of LG INDUSTRIES in 2004, we have naturally integrated social and environmental responsibility into our development.
To demonstrate our commitment from the outset, we have embarked on a certification process. In 2022, we were awarded the highest level of distinction by EcoVadis: the PLATINIUM medal, awarded after an audit to the TOP 1% of companies. This rating validates our actions in the following areas: Environment, Social & Human Rights, Ethics and Responsible Purchasing.
Our plant has also been BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) certified for several years. We have obtained an A in over 85% of the criteria for this certification.
For nearly 20 years, we have been pursuing our continuous improvement approach:
Products :
- securit glass: 100% tempered glass, 100% verified.
- PFOA-free (free of all harmful substances), German-made nano care anti-scratch and anti-scale treatment.
- Heavy-metal-free profiles.
Factory :
- Installation of solar panels on the roof of our factory (23,000m2) in 2016. Today, our energy consumption has been halved.
- Closed-circuit water mainly for glass forming.
- Use of a pellet furnace to heat the aluminum balls for extruding the profiles.
Human:
- Our factory employs 45% women and 55% men. All are employed on a permanent basis.
Packaging :
- FSC-certified.
- Use of mineral inks.
